Those who have grabbed life by the handlebars from the saddle of a sportbike have always dreamed of getting acquainted with all the secrets that professional racers know. The new Suzuki GSX-R1000 is one of the only two current superbikes (the other being the Honda Fireblade) that doesn’t have traction control. For most of us mere mortals, that means having to be a little more careful on the throttle than on an electronics-laiden Aprilia RSV4, or any of the other 1000cc superbikes. For 500GP winner Simon Crafar it means he can perform full-lock powerslides while exiting a second gear 80mph corner at Almeria. Check out the cool video as Simon Crafar explains why man is always more important than machine.
