CIV Monza Superstock 600 Race: Morbidelli victory of Russian and Large

Franco Morbidelli (RCGM Faber Yamaha) won the Superstock 600 race success in the Italian Championship at Monza. Terms of wet asphalt on the track Brian, who packaged the drivers and determinants of the choices you have made ​​the tires. In this sense Morbidelli RCGM and the team have just as well, mounting a slick at the rear, after the first few laps of difficulty, in the end allowed the centaur Marches to close a gap that seemed hopeless (got up to 12 seconds) with the pilot who has spent most of his time leading the race, or championship leader Richard Russo.

The bearer of the Italian Motorcycle Federation was taken with finality at the start, crossing the finish line of the first step already with a lead of 5 seconds on the first of the pursuers. As already mentioned, in the final race, the driver of Aversa has had to deal with the asphalt that was completely wiped at the end of the penultimate lap and had to give leadership to the winner of the race.

Complete the podium Manuel Large (Yamaha Trasimeno), who managed to win in the sprint for only 23 milliseconds) of Mattia Cassani (Pasama Yamaha Racing Team), with Roberto Mercandelli, according to Faber RCGM Team rider, who finished the race in fifth place. All three pilots mentioned above have made ​​the choice to slick tires at the rear. Completing the top ten race Luca Oppedisano (Puccetti Kawasaki Racing), the wild-card Tony Covena Netherlands (Kawasaki Goeleven), Luca Salvadori (Yamaha Team PATA by Martini), Spaniard Nacho Calero (wild-card with Yamaha Trasimeno) and Nicola Morrentino, Yamaha Elle 2 Ciatti, who had to pay for a ride-through penalty after being a long time with wrestling with Morbidelli for second place (and therefore potentially able to reach, without penalty, to fight for the win).

A similar fate for Alessia Polita (Yamaha Trasimeno), forced to transit through the pit lane after having risen to the third position in the race. The Jesina finished in sixteenth place. Same type of measure dealt to Stephen Casalotti (Yamaha Team Riviera), eighteenth, to Alberto Butti (Mottini Yamaha Racing), and the twenty-first Tedi Basic, then disqualified.
